If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing beds. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15 per night per person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 30 per night per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Hotel information

The hotel is just metres away from Lancaster Gate London Underground station. The close proximity to the London Underground network offers easy, convenient access to the whole of London and all of its attractions. The Averard is AA and RAC listed. Please be advised that the hotel presently has scaffolding covering the front and side façades. This scaffolding will be in place until the end of summer 2008. These works will not inconvenience guests.

By Air (from London Heathrow Airport): The Heathrow Express is a direct high-speed train that runs between all of the terminals at Heathrow Airport and London Paddington train station. Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey time is 15 minutes. The hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from London Paddington station or alternatively, taxis are readily available from just outside the station. You could also take the Tube to Lancaster Gate London Underground station, which is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The A2 Airbus also runs directly from the airport to Lancaster Gate station. By Air (from London Gatwick Airport): The Gatwick Express train leaves from Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal building and runs to London Victoria station. Trains depart every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Taxis are readily available from just outside Victoria station or you can take the Tube to Lancaster Gate London Underground station, which is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. By Air (from London Stansted Airport): The Stansted Express train runs regularly from Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street train station. Trains depart frequently and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Liverpool Street station, take the Central line (red) on the London Underground directly to Lancaster Gate station. By London Underground: The nearest London Underground station is Lancaster Gate, which is on the Central line (red) of the London Underground network. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the station.
