St. Athans Hotel The St. Athans Hotel is family-run, simple and clean. In central London, it is within walking distance of the British Museum, the University of London and the New British Library. St. Athans offers rooms with shared bathrooms in Bloomsbury, an area once home to writers Charles Dickens and Virginia Woolf. This individually styled hotel is within several Georgian town houses (Grade II Listed status), with interesting original features. There is free Wi-Fi in public areas, and a lounge area for guests to relax in. St. Athans is a short bus ride away from the West End, with its many shops, theatres and Madame Tussauds. The hotel has been with the same family since 1964, who aim to provide friendly service and great value for money.

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Russell Square Underground Station (Piccadilly Line) and 5 minutes from Euston and King’s Cross/St.Pancras. There are also numerous bus routes that connect the hotel to many parts of London. When flying in from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, Luton and London City international airports travel to the hotel is simple and straightforward. From Underground stations: From Russell Square, cross Bernard St. by the pedestrian crossing, walk straight to Marchmont Street, continue for 2 blocks. At Tavistock Place turn left. From Euston Rd: pass the bus stops, cross the park in front of the station, walk down Upper Woburn Place, at Tavistock Place turn left and we are on the right hand side. From King’s Cross/St. Pancras: Walk up Euston Rd (towards Euston station), turn left into Judd St. and then right into Tavistock Place, we are then on the left hand side. From the Airports: From Heathrow: Piccadilly Line tube straight to Russell Square (quickest) From Gatwick: Thameslink train to King’s Cross then tube to Russell Sq. (quickest) or Gatwick Express to Victoria, then tube to Euston. From Stanstead: Stanstead Express to Tottenham Hale then tube to Euston (quickest) or to Liverpool St. then tube to King’s Cross or tube to Russell Sq. From Luton:Thameslink train to King’s Cross then tube to Russell Sq. From city airport: Bus to Canning Town, Docklands Light Railway to Bank, then tube to Russell Square.
