Room information

Rooms of varying sizes and shapes are available. Most of the rooms feature original features such as high ceilings, cornices and period Georgian windows. Rooms are decorated in pastel shades with deep carpeting and one or two armchairs. Beds have cotton sheets, with extra blankets in the cupboard. The bathrooms are tiled throughout and each one has a bidet.

The hotel still retains many attractive original features, including high ceilings, large windows, pillars and decorative cornices. The period-style décor and furnishings are combined with modern lighting and rich fabrics. Free wireless internet access is available in the public areas. Complimentary newspapers are available in the hotel’s lobby. Multilingual staff at the front desk can provide room service (limited hours) and arrange dry-cleaning services and airport transfers on request (at an additional cost).

The hotel does not have its own on-site restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes in the area surrounding the hotel, offering guests plenty of options when it comes to dining. Nearby restaurants include Café Quebec and Royal China.

The hotel is in the heart of London, which holds many of London's most expensive homes and many of its most expensive shops as well as tucked-away pubs and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendour of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.

Travel information

By Air: The hotel is approximately 15 miles (25 km) from London Heathrow Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport, and the journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 60 minutes. Alternatively, you can take public transport to reach the hotel. Take the Heathrow Express train from the airport to London Paddington station and then take the Circle line on the London Underground to Baker Street Tube station, which is just 300 metres from the hotel.
